it's delightful...it's delicious...it's dawesome

Allison Cutler Kelly, perhaps you are lucky enough to know her?

She is different these days…

Not only is she smart as a whip (and we’re talking Magna cum laude smart, suckaz!)

Award winning (recipient of one of four awards given at graduation)

And drop dead gorgeous (that’s not new).

SHE IS OUR NURSE KELLY!

I think her man is pretty proud of her, what do you think?

I was thinking about her mom and dad, Vickie and Keith, they must want to shout from the highest mountain top, “This darling girl is OUR daughter! Once we rocked her to sleep at night, helped her learn to read, taught her to love asparagus – and now just LOOK AT HER!”

(It’s too bad the Cutler family couldn’t be more attractive, you feel kind of sorry for them, don’t you? NOT!)

We met up with these cutie-pies right after Allison’s graduation ceremony and had a lovely meal with them. It was such a treat! (Thanks, Keith!)

Here is the thing that makes what Allison has accomplished so remarkable:

[WARNING: If you don’t want to hear me gushing about my sister-in-law’s accomplishments then you’d better stop reading, because GUSH I MUST!]

Allison was accepted into a very competitive program to begin with. She got straight A’s while she was… teaching early morning seminary, serving in the Young Women and Primary auxiliaries, playing the organ, attending all Youth Stake activities (including trek and girls camp) supporting her husband, Bishop Eno, making their house into a beautiful home, cooking dinners, cleaning the bathroom, killing the bugs that infested their kitchen, rescuing furniture off the side of the road and refurbishing it etc, etc, etc.

And she is only 23 years old!

You get the idea.

The woman is a marvel.

And I for one am BURSTING WITH PRIDE!

Way to go, Alli!

P.S.

She is also the proud owner of some sweet graduation gifts!

(Millie picked out the rose clip, not bad – eh?)

Thank you, so much, for posting this, Eliza. I feel like I was there! The pictures are worth a thousand words. Allison’s face reminds me of the photos I’ve seen of her when she was a little girl… so alive and fresh and full of energy. What a JOY! Oh, I’m bursting with pride and happiness too! Ian looks handsome and proud and loving. I think Heavenly Father must be thrilled with those two. What would the world be like if all his children were as golden as Allison and Ian?

Congratulations to the Cutlers for their beautiful family, one and all.

Allison, we love you through and through. What a treasure you are! I want to show this posting to all my young women and say, “Do this with your life! This is what happiness looks like!”

So the other night I had a dream that I wasn’t married to Allison but we were hanging out and whatnot. Throughout my entire dream, I kept on saying to myself, “I have GOT to marry this girl. I need to propose to her RIGHT NOW.” But the words wouldn’t come out of my mouth. I was freaking out. I was worried that some other bozo–that’s b-o-z-o, like a bozo–would come along and try to steal her away. But then I woke up and there she was. PHEW!

I told Allison about my dream later in the day and how happy it made me feel to wake up and find her right next to me. She smiled for a second and then said excitedly, “I had a dream that I met A-Rod!” I nearly died from laughing so hard.

    She is the BEST.

That is SO funny, Eno! I’m still laughing! In fact, it reminded me of the dream I had where I met Zac Efron and he totally liked me, but I was like, “Sorry, buddy, I’m already taken.”

I know you’ve moved on to other blog posts, Liza, but I still want to say how excited/proud/happy I am for my wonderful/beatiful/smart-as-a-whip sister-in-law. Congratulations Allison! I’m hoping that it’s alright with you that I’m totally planning on using your expertise when my future children get sick!

  7. Allison Says:

Thank you thank you thank you. You are all so lovely and kind! MUCH LOVE! And count me in on caring for your sweet children Brynn. I would love that. (and yes, they are going to be really sweet- I can also see the future:) )
