You got me with this painting. And you got me good, brother!

The title of this painting is almost as wonderful as the painting itself.

“This Splendid Inconvenience”

Bless you, Brian.

Bless you.

Bless you.

Bless you.

For rising each morning and facing a blank canvas.

Your work makes the world a better place.

And it makes me very happy.

Oh…I wanna cry! That painting speaks VOLUMES to me. I love his work. I’m asking for a copy of this one to go over our mantle. It may take a few years to save up….but I’m doing it anyway.

I was just looking at our Nativity poster today and loving the people in it. And then I was looking at our framed “Jump” poster. I don’t know that I was thinking anything specific, but I’m sure that it was pumping me up subliminally. I was talking to Sam Card and she was telling me how she took an art class from him during that one semester that he was teaching at BYU. She basically watched as Nativity came into being. Cool, eh? And she said one of the happiest moments of her life was being in his class, painting, while he sang songs on his guitar. She says his songs are as good as his paintings. Don’t you want to hear them now? I know I do.

So sweet, so tender….what an ethereal scene. Pure light enters my heart as I feel like a remember something similar. I love it.
